Maybe these newbies would stick around if any of you big tough regulars would give them a helping hand. I’ve seen a lot of regulars that point and laugh at newbies. The people that don’t wipe down their gym equipment or put their weights away are jerks. I don’t just pull out my phone and film them to post on gymfuckery. If I see a new person needing assistance I give it to them. So they are even more so anal about the rules. Most people new to fitness are being directed by the staff their first few weeks and are worried they are gonna piss of the regulars. I’ve also seen way more regulars abuse the gym rules then the new people. Unless you just want to be the big fish in the little pond lol. If you can’t go to a gym and be happy that other people are trying to get on your level you don’t belong in a standard gym and should join a lifting club or something. I personally believe that the people that are regulars and walk around like they have more right in the gym then others are jerks. Ya it sucks when my routine gets messed up bc there are more people in the gym. Also it brings in a huge flow of revenue for the gym which only makes the gym better. A lot don’t but at least they are trying.
